1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with Sort My CV, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our website or services.

Sort My CV reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes made after an order has been placed will not affect the terms applicable at the time of purchase.

2. Service Agreement

A contract between you and Sort My CV is formed only once your order has been accepted and payment has been successfully received.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion. If an order is declined, you will be notified within 24 hours and a full refund will be issued.

3. Pricing & Payments

All prices displayed on our website are subject to change without notice. However, once an order has been placed, the price paid at checkout will remain fixed for that order.

Payments are securely processed through our approved payment providers, including Stripe and Square.

If an incorrect service package is selected, we will contact you to discuss the appropriate service level and arrange any outstanding balance or refund where applicable.

4. Client Information & Responsibilities

To complete your order effectively, you agree to provide accurate and truthful information, including but not limited to:

  • Employment history

  • Education details

  • Qualifications

  • Skills and achievements

  • Contact information

Sort My CV is not responsible for inaccuracies, omissions or false information supplied by the client.

Where additional information is required, we may contact you by email, phone, or other provided contact methods.

5. Turnaround Times

Estimated turnaround times are provided as guidance only and begin from the point all required information has been received and, where applicable, consultation sessions have taken place.

While we always aim to deliver within the stated timeframe, delays may occasionally occur due to workload, client response times or unforeseen circumstances.

Sort My CV cannot accept liability for losses, missed opportunities or inconveniences caused by delivery delays.

For urgent requirements, clients may choose our priority service options where available.

6. Revisions & Satisfaction Guarantee

We are committed to delivering high-quality CV and career support services.

All customers are entitled to revisions to ensure the final document accurately reflects their experience, goals and preferences.

Our satisfaction guarantee includes:

  • Unlimited reasonable revisions during the active project period

  • Up to 4 years of free additions of new content including new employment, training and education following final delivery.

7. Refund Policy

Due to the personalised nature of our services, all products delivered by Sort My CV are classified as customised digital services and are therefore generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

However, where required under applicable consumer law, appropriate remedies will be considered.

If you experience any concerns with your order, we encourage you to contact us so we can resolve the matter promptly and professionally.

8. Professional Advice Disclaimer

All services provided by Sort My CV are completed in good faith and to the best of our professional knowledge and experience.

While we aim to improve your professional presentation and employability, we cannot guarantee:

  • Job interviews

  • Employment offers

  • Salary increases

  • Career outcomes

Sort My CV shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from the use of our services or advice.

9. Communication Standards

We aim to maintain a professional and respectful working relationship with all clients.

Sort My CV reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services where abusive, threatening, discriminatory or inappropriate behaviour is directed toward staff or representatives.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

Any personal information submitted to Sort My CV will be handled securely and confidentially in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy.

Your information will never be sold to third parties.

11. Inactive & Abandoned Orders

To ensure projects are completed efficiently, clients are expected to maintain reasonable communication throughout the service process.

If we do not receive a response, required information or revision feedback for more than 60 consecutive days, the order may be considered inactive and archived.

Once archived, Sort My CV reserves the right to close the project without further obligation to continue the service.

 

Reactivating an archived order may be subject to additional charges at our discretion.
